What is the format of the COBIT 5 Foundation exam?

The exam is closed book with single-answer multiple-choice questions, based on the COBIT 5 Foundation Exam Syllabus, 2020 version. It is delivered by PeopleCert, either online via OnVUE proctoring or at an authorised test centre.

How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

The COBIT 5 Foundation exam has 50 questions and lasts 40 minutes. It is a closed-book, single-answer multiple-choice paper.

What is the passing score for COBIT 5 Foundation?

The pass mark is 50 per cent, so you must answer at least 25 of the 50 questions correctly. Our practice questions and mock exams help you build readiness across all five syllabus areas.

What topics does the exam cover?

The exam covers five areas: COBIT 5 Introduction and Overview, the Five Principles, the Seven Enablers, the Process Reference Model, and Goals Cascade and Implementation Overview. The principles and enablers carry the highest combined weight.
