    What is the format of the PMP exam?

    The PMP is a closed-book exam of 180 questions taken in 230 minutes, including two 10-minute breaks. It uses multiple-choice, multiple-response, matching, hotspot and limited fill-in-the-blank questions, delivered online or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

    What domains does the PMP exam cover?

    The current exam covers three domains: People (42%), Process (50%) and Business Environment (8%). The updated exam aligned to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition expands to five domains covering fundamentals, predictive methods, agile frameworks, business analysis and stakeholder engagement.

    What is the passing score for the PMP exam?

    PMI does not publish a fixed pass mark. Results are determined by psychometric analysis and reported as Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement per domain, so aim for broad mastery across all domains.

    Which standard and edition is the PMP exam based on?
