    What is the format of the EXIN ASM exam?

    The EXIN Agile Scrum Master exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice test with single-answer questions. It is delivered online with proctoring or at an accredited test location, and covers all five EXIN topic areas.

    How many questions are on the ASM exam?

    The exam has 40 multiple-choice questions. You need 26 correct, a 65% score, to pass. The questions are spread across the five EXIN topic areas, from the agile mindset to adopting agile.

    How long is the ASM exam and what is the pass mark?

    You have 90 minutes to answer the 40 questions, and the passing score is 65%, meaning 26 correct answers. The exam tests applied Scrum Master knowledge, not just recall.

    What topics does the ASM exam cover?

    The exam covers five areas: Agile Way of Thinking (20%), Scrum Master Role (25%), Agile Estimating, Planning, Monitoring and Control (27.5%), Complex Projects (12.5%) and Adopting Agile (15%).

    What if I do not pass the exam first time?

    You can resit the EXIN ASM exam; the re-sit policy and fees are set by EXIN. Our training includes practice questions, mock exams and exam-day guidance to help you prepare thoroughly and pass with confidence.

    Where can I take the ASM exam in Albania?
