    General

What is the PMP certification and who is it for?

The Project Management Professional (PMP) is PMI's flagship credential and the global gold standard for project managers. It validates your ability to lead projects using predictive, agile and hybrid approaches. It suits project managers, team leads and delivery professionals with project experience.

Is the PMP worth it for professionals in Sharjah?

Yes. The PMP is recognised across the UAE and over 200 countries, and certified project managers are reported to earn 15-30% more than non-certified peers. With Sharjah investing heavily in infrastructure and industry, it is a strong career move. Talk to a learning advisor to plan your path.

Why choose Invensis Learning for PMP training?

Invensis Learning is a PMI Authorized Training Partner offering PMI-aligned courseware, accredited trainers, flexible live virtual and classroom formats, and application support, helping you move from learning to certification with a clear, supported path.

The PMP is valid for three years. To maintain it, you earn 60 professional development units (PDUs) across the PMI Talent Triangle within each three-year continuing certification cycle.

    Is the PMP recognised internationally?

Yes. The PMP is recognised in over 200 countries and is widely regarded as the global gold standard of project management. It is referenced in employer job specifications, client contracts and government procurement across the UAE and worldwide.

    Pricing

What is included in the PMP course fee?

The training fee typically includes PMI-aligned courseware, practice questions, mock exams, exam simulator access, downloadable templates, application support, learner support and a course completion certificate with contact hours. Request a quote for the current inclusions.

How much does PMP training cost in Sharjah?

PMP training fees in Sharjah vary by format and schedule, so pricing is available on request. The PMI exam fee is billed separately and is not part of the training fee. Contact a learning advisor for a tailored quote.

Is the exam fee included in the training price?

No. PMI bills the PMP exam fee separately. For reference, it is around USD 405 for PMI members and USD 555 for non-members, and prices can vary, so confirm the current fee at pmi.org. PMI membership can reduce the exam cost.

    Exam

What if I do not pass the PMP exam on the first try?

PMI allows up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period. Our training includes mock exams, an exam simulator and revision support to help you prepare thoroughly, and re-examination fees apply to later attempts.

How many questions are on the PMP exam and how long is it?

The PMP exam has 180 questions and lasts 230 minutes, which is three hours and 50 minutes, including two 10-minute scheduled breaks. It uses multiple formats, including multiple choice, multiple response, matching, hotspot and fill-in-the-blank questions.

What are the PMP exam domains and their weights?

The updated exam covers five domains: Project Management Fundamentals and Core Concepts (15%), Predictive Plan-Based Methodologies (28%), Agile Frameworks and Methodologies (27%), Business Analysis and Strategic Management (18%), and Stakeholder Engagement and Communication (12%).

What is the passing score for the PMP exam?

PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score that is not published as a fixed number. Results are reported as pass or fail with domain-level feedback, so focus on broad mastery across all the domains rather than a single percentage.

Where can I take the PMP exam?

You can sit the exam online through Pearson VUE's OnVUE proctoring from home or office, or at a Pearson VUE test centre. Scheduling is done through PMI's portal or the Pearson VUE website within your one-year eligibility period.

Which edition is the PMP exam based on?

The current exam is aligned to the PMBOK Guide Eighth Edition and the updated PMP Examination Content Outline. Our courseware reflects the 8th edition, so you study the framework the exam actually tests.

    Course Content

Can a beginner or first-time applicant take PMP training?

Yes. The training is structured for professionals new to formal project management as well as experienced managers. You do not need prior PMI training to enrol, and the programme provides the 35 contact hours of education required to apply for the exam.

What topics does the PMP training cover?

The training covers the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition performance domains and the exam content outline: fundamentals, predictive methodologies, agile frameworks, business analysis and strategic management, and stakeholder engagement and communication, plus exam strategy.

Does the course cover agile as well as waterfall?

Yes. Roughly half the exam reflects agile or hybrid approaches, and the updated exam has a dedicated Agile Frameworks domain at 27%. You learn Scrum, Kanban and Lean alongside predictive delivery, then how to blend them in hybrid projects.

What learning resources and materials are provided?

You receive PMI-aligned courseware, practice questions, full-length mock exams, an exam simulator, downloadable templates, flashcards and topic-wise quizzes to help you identify weak areas and build exam readiness.

Is the courseware aligned with the latest PMP syllabus?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition and the current PMP Examination Content Outline, so you study the domains and question styles used in the exam today.

    Enrollment

How soon can I start and how do I enrol?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website, choose your preferred format and complete payment, then receive access to schedules, courseware and resources. See upcoming batches or talk to a learning advisor to pick a start date.

What are the eligibility requirements to sit the PMP exam?

PMI offers two paths: a four-year degree with 36 months of leading projects, or a secondary diploma with 60 months of leading projects. Both require 35 contact hours of project management education, which this training provides.

What training formats are available in Sharjah?

We offer instructor-led online (live virtual) training, classroom training, and customised corporate group training, so you can choose the format that fits your schedule and learning style in Sharjah.

Do you provide support with the PMI application?

Yes. We guide you through documenting your project leadership experience and contact hours for the PMI application, so you can submit with confidence and avoid common mistakes that delay approval.
