The Real Payoff of Learning LeanFor Professionals and UAE Plants

    For Individuals

    For Individuals

This Lean manufacturing course helps production managers, engineers, supervisors, quality professionals and continuous improvement coordinators turn Lean theory into shop-floor results. You learn tools you can use immediately, not abstract concepts. Whether you work in steel, aluminium, cable, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals or industrial equipment, the training equips you to eliminate waste, smooth flow and improve quality in your own environment.

If you want to be the person who spots waste, fixes flow and leads improvement, Lean is the foundation. You gain a practical toolkit, hands-on practice and a completion certificate that shows you can apply Lean where it matters, on the line.

    • Apply the five Lean principles and the eight wastes to your own production area from day one

    For Organizations

    For Organizations

Corporate Lean training helps UAE manufacturers build waste-elimination capability across whole teams. Delivered onsite or live virtual, sessions can apply Lean tools directly to your production lines during the workshop. For organisations under margin and capital-efficiency pressure, a shared Lean method turns scattered improvement effort into a consistent, measurable operating system.

If your teams firefight instead of preventing problems, group Lean training creates a common foundation. Production, quality and maintenance align on the same tools, from 5S and standard work to pull systems and OEE, so gains stick.

    • Cut lead times, inventory and defect rates by embedding a shared Lean method across teams
    • Give production, engineering, quality and maintenance one common improvement language
    • Raise Overall Equipment Effectiveness through TPM and structured loss elimination
    • Build in-house capability to run 5S, value stream mapping and Kaizen events
    • Support In-Country Value and operational excellence goals with a leaner cost base
    • Standardise best practice across shifts, lines and multiple plant locations
    • Deliver training onsite so exercises use your own production data and challenges
    • Develop supervisors and team leaders into confident improvement facilitators

Why UAE Plants Need Lean Skills Now

    Industrial Diversification Pressure

Operation 300bn and Make it in the Emirates are scaling UAE manufacturing fast, but growth exposes waste, long lead times and uneven flow that Lean tools are built to fix.

    Lean builds waste-elimination capability

    Margin and Energy-Cost Squeeze

Rising input and energy costs push manufacturers to protect margin. Eliminating the eight wastes and cutting inventory is the fastest way to lower cost without cutting value.

Lean builds cost and flow discipline

    Equipment Uptime and OEE Gaps

Unplanned downtime and slow changeovers erode capacity across metals, food and packaging lines. TPM, OEE and SMED target the six big losses that hold plants back.

Lean builds TPM and OEE capability

    In-Country Value and Local Sourcing

The In-Country Value programme rewards efficient local production, so plants need leaner processes and higher first-time quality to win and keep national supply contracts.

Lean builds flow and quality capability

    Scarce Continuous Improvement Talent

UAE employers list continuous improvement and operational excellence roles faster than they can fill them. Practical Lean skills make candidates visibly job-ready.

Lean makes your skills stand out

    Firefighting Instead of Prevention

Many plants react to problems rather than prevent them. 5S, standard work and Kaizen shift teams from daily firefighting to systematic, sustained improvement.

    Lean builds a problem-prevention culture

    Your UAE Lean Transformation

Your Shop Floor Before and After Lean,

And the Shift Lean Skills Deliver

UAE manufacturing is expanding under Operation 300bn and In-Country Value, and employers increasingly separate people who can lead improvement from those who only run the line. Here is which side of that line Lean skills put you on.

A Shared Method Across the Plant

"We ran the programme onsite for two shifts of supervisors and engineers. Using our own lines in the exercises made it land, and we now share one Lean language across the plant. Flow and 5S scores have improved."

    General

    What is Lean Manufacturing training?

Lean Manufacturing training is a practical, non-certification course that teaches you to eliminate waste and improve flow using the Toyota Production System toolkit. It covers the five Lean principles, the eight wastes, value stream mapping, 5S, pull systems, TPM, OEE, standard work, SMED and Kaizen, all applied through hands-on exercises.

Who should attend this Lean course in the UAE?

It suits production and manufacturing managers, manufacturing and industrial engineers, operations supervisors, team leaders, quality engineers, maintenance and TPM coordinators, and continuous improvement professionals. Anyone working in or responsible for a UAE production operation who wants to apply Lean will benefit.

Are Lean skills in demand in the UAE?

Yes. As Operation 300bn and Make it in the Emirates expand UAE manufacturing, employers across steel, aluminium, food, pharmaceuticals and aerospace actively seek people who can cut waste, raise OEE and lead continuous improvement in roles such as operational excellence and production manager.

Do I need prior Lean experience to join?

No. The course has no prerequisites and introduces Lean from first principles. Prior manufacturing or production experience is helpful but not required, so professionals new to Lean and those refreshing their skills both fit well.

Why is this training worth it for UAE manufacturers?

Because it turns Lean theory into shop-floor results. You leave able to run a waste walk, map a value stream, design a Kanban loop and calculate OEE, skills that directly cut lead time, inventory and cost. Talk to a learning advisor to see how it fits your plant.

    Pricing

How much does Lean Manufacturing training cost in the UAE?

Pricing varies by delivery format, group size and whether you enrol as an individual or a corporate team, so course fees are available on request. Contact us for a tailored quote for public or onsite training in the UAE.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee typically includes instructor-led training across all six Lean modules, hands-on exercises, course materials and learner support, plus a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning. Confirm exact inclusions for your chosen format when you request a quote.

Do you offer corporate or group pricing?

Yes. We offer group and corporate pricing for teams trained together, with customised schedules for PMOs, plants and departments. Onsite delivery lets exercises use your own lines. Ask about corporate and group pricing for your team.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major cards and bank transfers, and can discuss instalment options for selected corporate programmes. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

Is this a training fee or a certification cost?

This is a training fee only. Lean Manufacturing is a skills course with no certification exam and no external credential fee, so there is nothing to pay to an awarding body. You receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning.

    Assessment

Is there an exam for this course?

No. This is a non-certification skills course with no examination. Learning is reinforced through hands-on Lean tool exercises, waste identification activities, manufacturing case examples and team discussion during the programme.

Do I receive a certificate after the training?

Yes. You receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning once you complete the programme. It records your participation and the Lean capability you have built, though it is not a formal external credential.

How is learning assessed during the course?

There is no formal assessment. Instead, hands-on exercises such as waste walks, value stream mapping, 5S assessment, Kanban sizing and OEE calculation let you apply each tool to realistic scenarios, so you practise the skills as you learn them.

Is this an accredited or governed certification?

No. Lean Manufacturing is a vendor-neutral methodology rooted in the Toyota Production System, with no single governing body or accreditation for the training itself. The course builds practical capability rather than preparing you for a credential exam.

How long is the Lean Manufacturing training?

The programme runs for one day (8 hours), and can also be delivered as two half-day sessions. It covers all six Lean modules, from the Toyota Production System foundations and the eight wastes through value stream mapping, 5S, pull systems, TPM, OEE, SMED and Kaizen, with exercises throughout.

    Course Content

What topics are covered in the course?

The course spans Lean foundations and the Toyota Production System, the five Lean principles, the eight wastes, value stream mapping, 5S and visual management, pull systems and Kanban, Just-in-Time, TPM and OEE, standard work, SMED, Heijunka, Poka Yoke and building a Lean culture.

What Lean tools will I learn to use?

You learn to run a Gemba waste walk, build value stream maps, apply 5S, design Kanban pull systems, calculate OEE and target the six big losses, document standard work, reduce changeover time with SMED, level production with Heijunka and lead Kaizen improvements.

    Are there hands-on exercises?

Yes. Hands-on exercises run throughout the day, including waste classification, value stream data collection and timeline, 5S assessment, Kanban quantity calculation, OEE calculation and standard work observation, so you practise every core tool.

What will I be able to do after completing it?

You will be able to explain the five Lean principles, identify and classify the eight wastes, read and build a value stream map, run a 5S programme, design a Kanban pull system, calculate OEE, write standard work, apply SMED and lead Kaizen on the shop floor.

Is the content useful outside manufacturing?

Yes. While the course focuses on manufacturing, the principles and many tools, such as 5S, Kaizen, value stream mapping and waste elimination, apply to logistics, warehousing, healthcare operations and other service-delivery environments too.

    Enrollment

How do I enrol in the Lean Manufacturing course?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website or by contacting our team. Choose your preferred format, and you will receive access to schedules, course materials and joining details. Enrol online or talk to a learning advisor to get started.

What training formats are available in the UAE?

The course is available online as live virtual instructor-led training, in classroom sessions, and as onsite or customised corporate training for teams. You can pick the format that best fits your schedule and your team's needs.

    How soon can I start?

Public sessions run on a regular schedule, and corporate sessions are arranged around your team's availability. See upcoming schedules or contact us, and we will confirm the next available dates for your chosen format.

Can I train my whole production team together?

Yes. Corporate group training is ideal for production teams, management groups and cross-functional Lean teams. Delivered onsite, exercises use your own production environment, so the whole team builds a shared Lean method. Ask about group pricing for your team.

What is the reschedule or refund policy?

Rescheduling and refunds follow our published policy, and selected plans include flexible options to move to another batch. Contact our team for the details that apply to your enrolment before you book.
