    The passing score is 74%, which means answering at least 37 out of 50 questions correctly. The exam is based on the Scrum Alliance CSM Learning Objectives and the current Scrum Guide.

    How many attempts do I get for the CSM exam?

    Candidates typically have three attempts to pass the CSM exam within 90 days of completing an approved course. Verify the current attempt policy on the Scrum Alliance portal before you sit the exam.

    Do I need to attend a course to sit the CSM exam?

    Yes. Attending an approved CSM course delivered by a Certified Scrum Trainer is mandatory. The online exam cannot be accessed without completing the course, and it unlocks in your Scrum Alliance member portal on completion.
