    What is the format of the SIAM Foundation exam?

    The EXIN SIAM Foundation exam is a closed-book paper with 40 single-answer multiple-choice questions, to be completed in 60 minutes. It is delivered through EXIN online proctoring or at an accredited test location.

    What is the passing score for the exam?

    The pass mark is 65%, which means answering at least 26 of the 40 questions correctly. Broad understanding across all seven topic areas is the best way to prepare.

    Are there prerequisites for the SIAM Foundation exam?

    No. SIAM Foundation has no formal prerequisites and is open to all. Familiarity with basic ITSM concepts, such as from ITIL Foundation, is helpful but not required to sit the exam.

    Which standard is the exam based on?
