Confident in delivery, but employers want proven Scrum facilitation

    After CSM

Fluent in facilitating Scrum events and coaching self-managing teams

Working within agile teams with no formal Scrum Master mandate

    Now you have

A clear route into Scrum Master, Product Owner and Agile Coach roles

    Before

Delivery focused, with limited grounding in servant leadership

    Now you have

The facilitation skills employers want: events, coaching and impediment removal

    Before

Recognition limited when you change sector or employer

    Now you have

A globally portable credential that travels across sectors and borders

Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

The Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) is Scrum Alliance's entry-level Scrum Master certification. It validates your understanding of the Scrum framework, the Scrum Master role and the values that make Scrum teams effective, and it is the most widely recognised Scrum Master credential worldwide.

    General

What is the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification?

The Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) is Scrum Alliance's entry-level Scrum Master certification. It validates your understanding of the Scrum framework, the Scrum Master role and the values that make Scrum teams effective, and it is the most widely recognised Scrum Master credential worldwide.

Is the CSM worth it for professionals in Tunisia?

Yes. Tunisia's IT services, telecom and banking employers increasingly run agile delivery for European and local clients and value Scrum Alliance-certified Scrum Masters. A CSM opens roles from Scrum Master and Product Owner to Agile Coach, where certified professionals stand out.

Who should take the CSM course?

The CSM suits aspiring Scrum Masters, developers, testers and business analysts working in agile teams, and project managers moving to Scrum-based delivery. There is no formal experience requirement, so it works for those new to Scrum and those formalising existing knowledge.

    Is the CSM recognised internationally?

Yes. The Certified ScrumMaster is the world's most widely recognised Scrum Master credential, with over one million certificates issued. Scrum Alliance operates globally, so your CSM is portable across sectors and borders well beyond Tunisia.

How long is the CSM certification valid?

The CSM is valid for two years. To renew, you earn 16 Scrum Education Units (SEUs) within the two-year cycle and pay the Scrum Alliance membership renewal fee. SEUs can be earned through training, events, coaching and self-study.

Do I need prior experience to enrol?

No. The CSM has no formal education or work-experience prerequisite. The only requirement to sit the exam is attending an approved course delivered by a Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Trainer (CST), which this programme provides.

    Pricing

How much does CSM training cost in Tunisia?

CSM training fees in Tunisia are available on request and vary by format and schedule. The fee typically bundles the Scrum Alliance online exam and a two-year membership, so there is no separate exam charge to arrange. Request a quote for current pricing in TND.

What is included in the CSM course fee?

The fee usually includes Scrum Alliance-aligned courseware, instructor-led training by a Certified Scrum Trainer, access to the online CSM exam after the course, and a two-year Scrum Alliance membership on passing, along with learner support.

Is the exam fee included in the training price?

In most cases, yes. For the CSM, the exam fee is typically included in the course fee paid to the training provider, and you access the exam through your Scrum Alliance member portal after completing the course. Confirm inclusions when you request a quote.

Do you offer group or corporate discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for engineering teams, PMOs and business units. Contact us for a tailored quote for your team in Tunisia.

    What payment methods are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, with instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

What is the format of the CSM exam?

The CSM exam has 50 multiple-choice questions to be completed in 60 minutes. It is open book and taken online through the Scrum Alliance member portal after you complete the course, with no proctor required.

What is the passing score for the CSM exam?

The passing score is 74%, which means answering at least 37 of the 50 questions correctly. The trainer-led practice and open-book format help you approach the exam with confidence.

How many attempts do I get, and what if I do not pass?

Candidates typically have three attempts to pass the CSM exam within 90 days of completing the course. The open-book format and included practice make a first-attempt pass very achievable for most learners.

Do I have to attend a course before the exam?

Yes. Attending an approved CSM course delivered by a Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Trainer (CST) is mandatory. The exam cannot be accessed until you complete the course, after which you have 90 days to sit it online.

What is the CSM exam based on?

The exam is based on the Scrum Alliance CSM Learning Objectives and aligned to the current Scrum Guide (November 2020) by Ken Schwaber and Jeff Sutherland. It covers Scrum theory, values, the Scrum team, events, artifacts and the Scrum Master role.

    Course Content

What will I learn in the CSM training?

You will learn the full Scrum framework across six topic areas: Scrum theory and principles, the five Scrum values, the Scrum team, Scrum events, Scrum artifacts and the Scrum Master role, with hands-on facilitation practice throughout.

Which standard is the course aligned to?

The course is aligned to the Scrum Alliance CSM Learning Objectives and the current Scrum Guide (November 2020), which introduced the Product Goal and framed the Sprint Goal and Definition of Done as commitments.

How long is the CSM course?

The instructor-led CSM programme runs for 16 hours, delivered as two full days or four half-days depending on the schedule. This exceeds the Scrum Alliance minimum of 14 contact hours for an approved CSM course.

What materials and practice are provided?

You receive Scrum Alliance-aligned courseware and industry case studies illustrating facilitation, coaching and impediment removal, plus hands-on exercises in Scrum events and retrospective formats to prepare you for the exam and the role.

Can a beginner take this course?

Yes. The CSM is designed for those new to Scrum as well as practitioners formalising their knowledge. No prior experience is required, and the trainer builds concepts from first principles with practical, real-world examples.
