Advance Your Construction Career in TajikistanWhy Consider PMI-CP?

Construction project management is in sharp focus across Tajikistan as national programmes scale. The Rogun hydropower plant, the CASA-1000 transmission line and road corridors led by international contractors are drawing record development finance, and employers increasingly separate certified construction leaders from the wider site workforce. Demand sits from Site Manager and Project Engineer up to Construction Project Manager and Project Director, and here is what the market is telling us right now.

Industry Forces Driving Demand for PMI-CP Skills in Tajikistan

    Hydropower Mega-Project Complexity

The Rogun plant involves a 335-metre dam and six 600 MW units over many years, demanding contract, risk and governance discipline that construction-specific certification is built to provide.

PMI-CP builds strategy, scope and governance skills

    Contract and Claims Exposure

International and donor-funded works run on complex contract and claims regimes. With Contracts Management at 50% of the exam, the PMI-CP targets the industry's biggest source of value leakage.

    PMI-CP builds contracts management skills

    Donor-Funded Governance Standards

World Bank, ADB, AIIB and EBRD financing brings strict reporting, audit and compliance expectations that call for structured project governance rather than informal site oversight.

    PMI-CP builds project governance skills

    Certified Construction PM Shortage

Tajikistan has deep site and trade talent but few globally certified construction project managers, so credentialed professionals are rare and sought-after on major programmes.

PMI-CP makes certified construction leaders stand out

    Transport Corridor Coordination

Road, bridge and CASA-1000 works by international contractors span authorities, communities and utilities, demanding the stakeholder engagement the credential places at 30% of the exam.

    PMI-CP builds stakeholder engagement skills

    Capital-Efficiency and Delivery Pressure

With record finance committed, sponsors expect on-time, on-budget delivery. Portfolios need construction leaders who can control cost, schedule and risk against tight capital discipline.

    Pricing

How much does PMI-CP training cost in Tajikistan?

Training fees vary by format and are available on request. The PMI exam fee is billed separately by PMI in USD (for reference, around USD 520 for members and USD 670 for non-members; verify current fees at pmi.org). Request a quote for our latest schedules and group pricing.

What is included in the PMI-CP course fee?

The training fee typically includes PMI-aligned courseware, practice questions, mock exams, guidance on the four prerequisite modules, PMI application support, learner support, and a course completion certificate with contact hours. The PMI exam fee is not included and is paid separately to PMI.

Is the exam fee included in the training price?

    Exam

What is the format of the PMI-CP exam?

The PMI-CP exam is closed book with 120 questions in multiple-choice formats (single and multiple answer). It is based on the PMI-CP Examination Content Outline and covers four domains: Contracts Management, Stakeholder Engagement, Strategy and Scope Management, and Project Governance.

How many questions are on the PMI-CP exam and how long is it?

The exam has 120 questions and you have 230 minutes (3 hours 50 minutes) to complete it. It is delivered online via Pearson VUE OnVUE proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

What are the PMI-CP exam domains and their weights?

There are four domains per the official ECO: Contracts Management (50%), Stakeholder Engagement (30%), Strategy and Scope Management (15%) and Project Governance (5%). Contracts Management is by far the largest, reflecting how central contracts are to construction delivery.

What is the passing score, and what if I do not pass first time?

PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score rather than a fixed percentage, and reports domain-level performance. You get up to three attempts within a one-year eligibility window, and our mock exams and prep support are designed to build readiness across all four domains.

What are the prerequisites and mandatory modules for the PMI-CP?

You must complete four self-paced modules (Project Communications, Interface Management, Scope and Change Order Management, Contract and Risk Management), each worth 14 PDUs. You also need construction experience and 35 contact hours of PM education under one of three eligibility sets.

    Course Content

What will I learn in the PMI-CP training?

You learn to manage construction contracts and claims, engage stakeholders, set strategy and control scope, and govern projects, mapped to the four ECO domains. The training also covers scheduling, cost and risk control across the full construction lifecycle, plus exam and application preparation.

What standard and edition is the training based on?

The training is aligned to the PMI-CP Examination Content Outline and the current edition of the PMBOK Guide, together with construction industry standards and practices referenced by PMI. This keeps your preparation matched to what the current exam actually assesses.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes practice questions and full-length mock exams aligned to the 120-question, 230-minute closed-book format, plus topic-wise quizzes to help you identify weak areas and build exam readiness across all four domains.

Does this training satisfy the PMI-CP education prerequisite?

The instructor-led programme provides 32 contact hours, which is close to but below the 35 contact hours of PM education PMI requires across all three eligibility sets. Check with our team whether supplementary self-study or pre-reading is credited toward the 35-hour requirement.

Do I need prior experience to join the training?

Anyone can join the training. To sit the exam, PMI requires construction project management experience and 35 contact hours of PM education under one of three eligibility sets, along with completing the four mandatory modules. Our team can help you check where you stand.

    Enrollment

How soon can I start and how do I enrol?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website. Choose your preferred format, complete payment, and you receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. See upcoming batches or talk to a learning advisor to pick a start date that fits you.

What training formats are available in Tajikistan?

We offer online (live virtual) instructor-led training, classroom sessions where available, self-paced e-learning, and customised corporate group training, so you can choose the format that best fits your schedule and project commitments.

How long is the PMI-CP certification valid and how do I renew it?

The PMI-CP is valid for three years. To renew, you earn 60 PDUs across the PMI Talent Triangle within each three-year cycle. The 56 PDUs from the four prerequisite modules can be applied toward renewal.

Can I reschedule or transfer my enrolment to another batch?

Yes. Flexi options let you reschedule or transfer to another batch, and selected plans let you attend the training twice. Contact support to arrange this before your batch begins.

What is the refund or cancellation policy?

Refunds and cancellations are handled per our published policy, and selected plans include a money-back option. Reach out to our team for the details that apply to your enrolment.
