What Is Driving Demand for IT Governance Assessors in Tajikistan

    Cybersecurity Governance Mandate

Tajikistan's 2026-2030 digital programme makes cybersecurity a priority at every stage of digitalisation, and organisations need assessors who can rate whether governance processes actually work.

Assessors evidence control and governance maturity

    Banking Digital Transformation

As Dushanbe City Bank, Alif Bank and others roll out digital wallets and AI security features, boards need evidence-based assurance that IT governance keeps pace with rapid change.

Assessors bring a defensible capability method

    Public-Sector Assurance Gap

The national eHukumat platform is moving public services online, raising the need for formal, ISO/IEC 15504-aligned assessments that show whether governance processes are established and controlled.

    Assessors give accountable, repeatable ratings

    Scarce Assessment Talent

Tajikistan has a growing pool of IT staff but few professionals qualified to conduct formal capability assessments. The Assessor credential makes holders rare and in demand.

The credential makes qualified assessors stand out

    FinTech Outpacing Controls

With a first IT Park and fast-growing fintech players, governance controls often trail innovation, creating demand for specialists who can measure and report where capability falls short.

Assessors help balance speed with governance

    Donor and Regulator Expectations

Development-bank and regulator scrutiny of IT governance pushes organisations toward internationally comparable assessments, exactly what the ISO/IEC 15504-aligned COBIT 5 PAM delivers.

    ISO/IEC 15504 alignment adds credibility

Eligible for assessor and audit-leadership roles across banking, telecoms and the public sector

    Today

Confident with the framework, but employers want proven assessment skill

    After COBIT 5 Assessor

Fluent in the PAM, capability levels and evidence-based rating at analysis level

    You earn COBIT 5 Assessor

    Before

Assessment authority rests on experience, not a recognised credential

    Now you have

A specialist credential recognised by employers and auditors worldwide

    Before

Stuck at Foundation or Implementation level with no assessor mandate

    Now you have

A clear route into senior IT audit, GRC and governance-assessment roles

    Before

Familiar with COBIT, but not qualified to run a formal assessment

    Now you have

The rating and reporting discipline employers need: evidence, PAs and capability levels

    Before

Capability reviews seen as subjective and hard to defend

    Now you have

An ISO/IEC 15504-aligned method that stands up to regulators and boards

"The gap between knowing COBIT and being able to assess it formally is a recognised credential, and the organisations that matter already know it."

    Course Content

What will I learn in COBIT 5 Assessor training?

You will learn to plan and scope assessments, apply the COBIT 5 PAM, rate the six capability levels and nine process attributes with the four-point scale, gather and manage evidence, and document and report assessment findings at application and analysis level.

What is the COBIT 5 Process Assessment Model (PAM)?

The PAM is the ISO/IEC 15504-aligned model used to assess COBIT 5 process capability. It has two dimensions: the process dimension (the 37 COBIT 5 processes) and the capability dimension (six levels from 0-Incomplete to 5-Optimising).

What are the six capability levels and nine process attributes?

The levels are Incomplete, Performed, Managed, Established, Predictable and Optimising. The nine attributes run from PA 1.1 Process Performance up to PA 5.1 Process Innovation and PA 5.2 Process Optimisation, each rated on a four-point scale.

How long is the training and what materials are provided?
