The Assessor credential has become a senior marker of IT governance capability across Thailand, valued by banks, insurers, consulting and Big Four firms, telecoms and public-sector bodies that must evidence process capability. As PDPA enforcement, Bank of Thailand oversight and new virtual-bank licensing raise the bar on governance assurance, credentialed assessors are increasingly sought after. Industry Challenges Driving Assessor Demand in Thailand

    Rising Data Protection Pressure

Thailand's PDPA is fully enforced, and regulators expect demonstrable control. Organisations need assessors who can rate governance capability objectively, the exact skill the COBIT 5 PAM delivers.

    Assessors evidence governance maturity

Bank of Thailand IT Risk Oversight

BFSI firms face tightening IT risk and governance expectations from the Bank of Thailand. Evidence-based capability assessments help banks and insurers show maturity and close gaps before examiners do.

    Assessors support assurance readiness

    Virtual Banking Readiness

Three BOT-licensed virtual banks launch in 2026, each facing strict technology, cybersecurity and risk governance checks. Formal, ISO/IEC 15504-aligned assessments give leaders a defensible view of readiness.

    Assessors rate capability at scale

    Assessor Talent Scarcity

Thailand has a deep pool of IT auditors but few qualified process capability assessors. The Assessor level, with its mandatory Foundation prerequisite, makes credential holders rare and sought-after.

    Certified assessors stand out

    Strategy-To-Governance Gap

Boards fund digital transformation but struggle to see whether governance keeps pace. Capability profiles turn assessment findings into prioritised, strategy-aligned improvement plans leaders can act on.

    Assessors link findings to improvement

    Inconsistent Assessment Practice

Many Thai enterprises assess governance with informal checklists that vary by reviewer. A standardised PAM approach with a four-point rating scale makes results repeatable, traceable and comparable.

    Assessors standardise the method
