    What is the format of the EXIN ASM exam?

    The EXIN Agile Scrum Master exam is closed book with single-answer multiple-choice questions. It is delivered through EXIN online proctoring or at an accredited test location.

    How many questions are on the ASM exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 40 multiple-choice questions and a duration of 90 minutes. It covers five topic areas defined in the EXIN ASM examination specification.

    What is the passing score for the ASM exam?

    You need 65% to pass, which is 26 out of 40 questions correct. Aim for broad mastery across all five topic areas rather than focusing on a single one.

    Do I need a prerequisite to sit the ASM exam?

    There is no strictly enforced prerequisite, but EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation knowledge is recommended before taking the Agile Scrum Master exam.

    What if I do not pass the exam on the first attempt?

    You can re-sit the EXIN ASM exam by booking another attempt with a new voucher. Our trainers and practice materials are designed to help you prepare thoroughly the first time.

    What topics does the Agile Scrum Master course cover?

    The course covers the five EXIN topic areas: Agile Way of Thinking, the Scrum Master Role, Agile Estimating Planning Monitoring and Control, Complex Projects, and Adopting Agile, plus exam preparation.

    How long is the training?

    The programme runs for 16 hours, typically delivered over two days. It can also be spread across extended half-day sessions to suit working professionals.

    Can a beginner take this course?

    Yes. While Agile Scrum Foundation knowledge helps, the course builds the Scrum framework, servant leadership and facilitation skills from a practical base, so motivated beginners can follow along with support.

    Are practice tests and materials included?

    Yes. You receive EXIN-aligned courseware, practice questions and mock exams, plus reference materials that map to the ASM examination specification.

    Is the courseware aligned with the latest EXIN syllabus?

    Yes. The courseware follows the current EXIN Agile Scrum Master examination specification, aligned to the Scrum Guide and the Agile Manifesto.
