Who offers the DevOps Foundation certification?

The certification is offered by the DevOps Institute, a global professional body focused on advancing the human elements of DevOps, with exams delivered through PeopleCert. Invensis Learning is a PeopleCert (DevOps Institute) Authorised Training Provider.

Are there any prerequisites for DevOps Foundation?

No. DevOps Foundation has no formal prerequisites and is open to everyone, regardless of education, experience or prior DevOps knowledge. It suits developers, operations staff, testers, service managers, project managers and business analysts alike.

How long is the DevOps Foundation certification valid?

The credential is valid for three years. It is renewed by earning the required Continuing Education Units (CEUs) through DevOps Institute membership and continuing education activities within each three-year cycle.

What is the format of the DevOps Foundation exam?

The exam is closed book with 40 single-answer multiple-choice questions, based on the DevOps Foundation Exam Blueprint. It is delivered online with PeopleCert OnVUE proctoring or at an authorised test centre.

How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

There are 40 questions and you have 60 minutes (one hour) to complete them. The questions cover all six topic areas of the DevOps Foundation Body of Knowledge.

What is the passing score for DevOps Foundation?

The pass mark is 65 percent, which means answering at least 26 of the 40 questions correctly. The training and practice questions are designed to build broad readiness across every topic area.

Where can I take the DevOps Foundation exam in Serbia?

What topics does the DevOps Foundation course cover?

The course covers the six topic areas of the Exam Blueprint: DevOps foundations, DevOps concepts and practices, Agile, ITSM and Lean IT, the continuous delivery pipeline, automation and tooling, and DevOps culture and organisation.

Do I need prior experience to follow the course?

No prior DevOps experience is required. The course starts from first principles and is accessible to IT and business professionals at any stage, though basic familiarity with IT concepts is helpful.

How long is the DevOps Foundation training?

The programme runs for 16 hours of accredited instruction, typically delivered over two full days or four half-days. It covers all six exam topic areas and prepares you for the 40-question exam.
