    The PRINCE2 7 Foundation exam is closed book with 60 single-answer multiple-choice questions. It is delivered by PeopleCert, either online via OnVUE proctoring available 24/7 or at an authorised test centre.

    How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 60 questions and lasts 60 minutes. It tests your knowledge of the PRINCE2 method at comprehension level across all 11 syllabus areas.

    What is the passing score?

    You need 60 per cent to pass, which is 36 out of 60 questions correct. Broad understanding across the principles, people, practices and processes is the best route to a confident pass.

    What does the exam syllabus cover?

    The PRINCE2 7 Foundation syllabus spans 11 areas, including the Overview of PRINCE2, the seven Principles, PRINCE2 People, the seven Practices (Business Case, Organizing, Plans, Quality, Risk, Issues and Progress) and the seven Processes, which carry the largest weighting.

    Where can I take the exam?

    You can sit the exam online through PeopleCert's OnVUE proctoring from home or office, or at a PeopleCert authorised test centre. It is often arranged as part of a training and exam package.
