    It is an open-book, scenario-based objective test. The PRINCE2 Managing Successful Projects manual is permitted, but questions require analysis and judgment rather than simple look-up, so method knowledge and efficient navigation both matter.

    How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks, and you have 150 minutes (2 hours 30 minutes) to complete it. It is delivered online through PeopleCert OnVUE proctoring or at an authorised test centre.

    What is the passing score for PRINCE2 Practitioner?

    The pass mark is 60 per cent, which means at least 42 out of 70 marks. Because questions are scenario-based, focus on applying and tailoring the method rather than memorising facts.

    What are the prerequisites for the Practitioner exam?

    You need PRINCE2 Foundation, or an accepted equivalent such as PMP, CAPM or IPMA Level A/B/C/D. There is no formal work-experience requirement, though the credential is designed for practising or aspiring project managers.

    What if I do not pass the first time?
