Are there any additional Azure costs?

Azure DevOps is free for up to five users at dev.azure.com, and Azure services used in exercises may incur usage charges. For corporate sessions we can run exercises on your own Azure environment. Ask about the training environment when you enquire.

Assessment

Is there an exam for this Azure DevOps course?

No. This is a non-certification skills course with no examination. Learning is reinforced through hands-on Azure DevOps exercises throughout the day, so you practise every service rather than sitting a test.

Do I receive a certificate after completing the training?

Yes. On completing the programme you receive a Course Completion Certificate from Invensis Learning. It recognises your participation and the practical Azure DevOps skills you have built during the course.

How are the skills assessed during the course?

There is no formal assessment. Instead, you apply each concept in guided, hands-on exercises such as building a pipeline, deploying a Bicep template and setting up an Azure Monitor alert, so learning is confirmed through practice.

Will this training prepare me for real work on Azure?

Yes. The exercises mirror real delivery scenarios, so you leave able to build CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure, deploy containers and monitor services on Azure. The skills are immediately applicable and do not expire.

Is any credential or licence awarded?

No external credential or licence is awarded, as this is a vendor-neutral skills course rather than a certification programme. You receive a Course Completion Certificate from Invensis Learning that evidences the training you completed.

Course Content

What will I be able to do after the training?

You will be able to manage Git repositories with branch policies, write YAML CI/CD pipelines, deploy to Azure App Service and AKS, provision infrastructure with ARM and Bicep, set up Azure Monitor and Application Insights, and integrate security scanning into the pipeline.

Which Azure DevOps services are covered?

The course covers Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, Azure Boards, Azure Artifacts and Azure Test Plans, alongside Azure Container Registry, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Monitor, Application Insights and Microsoft Defender for DevOps.

Are the sessions hands-on or theory based?

They are hands-on throughout. You follow the instructor through live exercises in the Azure DevOps portal and Azure CLI, building pipelines, deploying infrastructure and configuring monitoring rather than only listening to concepts.

Does the course cover infrastructure as code and containers?

Yes. You work with ARM templates and Bicep for infrastructure as code, and build, store and deploy containerised applications using Azure Container Registry and Azure Kubernetes Service with kubectl and Helm.

What materials do I receive?

You receive structured courseware and learning resources covering all six modules, along with the hands-on exercise walkthroughs used during the session, so you can revisit the practices after training.
