Assessment

Is there an exam for this course?

No. Azure DevOps training is a non-certification course with no examination. Learning is reinforced through hands-on Azure exercises throughout the programme rather than a formal test.

Do I receive a certificate after the training?

Yes. You receive a Course Completion Certificate from Invensis Learning on finishing the programme. It recognises the practical Azure DevOps skills you built, which you can apply at work straight away.

How is my learning assessed during the course?

There is no formal assessment. You apply concepts directly through practical exercises, configuring pipelines, repositories, infrastructure as code and monitoring on Azure as the instructor guides each service and scenario.

Does this course award a formal credential?

No external credential is awarded, as this is a skills training course rather than a certification. You gain practical, immediately usable Azure DevOps capability and a Course Completion Certificate from Invensis Learning.

What topics are covered in the training?

The course covers DevOps principles and the Azure DevOps ecosystem, source control with Azure Repos, CI/CD with Azure Pipelines, agile planning with Azure Boards, infrastructure as code with ARM and Bicep, containers with ACR and AKS, monitoring, and DevSecOps.

What will I learn about CI/CD pipelines?

You learn to build YAML pipelines in Azure Pipelines with triggers, stages, jobs and tasks; run builds and tests; publish artifacts; and design multi-stage deployments to Azure App Service and Azure Kubernetes Service with approval gates and deployment strategies.

Are there hands-on exercises?

Yes. Practical exercises run throughout, including creating an Azure Repos repository with branch policies, writing a CI pipeline, deploying a Bicep template, and setting up an Azure Monitor alert and Application Insights dashboard.

How long is the Azure DevOps training?

The programme is delivered as one full day of eight hours, or across two half-days totalling the same eight hours. It covers all six modules with concept explanations and hands-on Azure exercises throughout.
