    It is an open-book, objective-testing exam based on the COBIT 5 Assessor Exam Syllabus, 2024 version. Only the COBIT 5 Assessor Guide: Using COBIT 5 and the COBIT Process Assessment Model are permitted, and questions require specialist analysis at application and analysis level.

    How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

    The paper has 8 questions, each worth 10 marks, for 80 marks in total. You have 2 and a half hours (150 minutes) to complete it. All 8 questions are scored, with no unscored pretest questions.

    What is the passing score for COBIT 5 Assessor?

    The pass mark is 50%, meaning you need 40 marks or more out of the 80 available. Ratings across the five topic areas are what matter, so aim for consistent strength rather than mastering one area alone.

    Which books are permitted in the exam?

    Only two references are allowed: the COBIT 5 Assessor Guide: Using COBIT 5 and the COBIT Process Assessment Model. No other materials are permitted, so the course includes practice in navigating them quickly under timed conditions.

    What are the six COBIT 5 capability levels?
