    The CSM assessment is a 50-question, multiple-choice online exam taken through the Scrum Alliance member portal after you complete an approved course. It is open book, so you can refer to materials, and it is delivered online without a proctor.

    How many questions are on the CSM exam and how long is it?

    The CSM exam has 50 questions and a time limit of 60 minutes (1 hour). It is open book and taken online via the Scrum Alliance portal within 90 days of completing your course.

    What is the passing score for the CSM exam?

    You need 74% to pass, which means answering at least 37 of the 50 questions correctly. The exam tests knowledge and comprehension of the Scrum framework across the Scrum Alliance CSM Learning Objectives.

    What happens if I do not pass the CSM exam first time?
