    The CSM exam is an open-book, online, multiple-choice test taken through the Scrum Alliance member portal after you complete the course. It is based on the Scrum Alliance CSM Learning Objectives and the current Scrum Guide.

    How many questions are on the CSM exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 50 multiple-choice questions and a time limit of 60 minutes. It is taken online without a proctor within 90 days of completing your course.

    What is the passing score for the CSM exam?

    You need 74% to pass, which is 37 out of 50 questions correct. The exam is open book, so focus on understanding the Scrum framework across all six topic areas.

    What if I do not pass the first time?

    Candidates typically have three attempts to pass within 90 days of course completion. Our preparation is focused on helping you pass on the first attempt, with practice questions and trainer guidance.

    Which standard is the CSM exam based on?
