Why IT Governance Skills Are in Demand in Lithuania

Dual Compliance Pressure from DORA and NIS2

Banks, insurers and fintechs in Lithuania must satisfy DORA and NIS2 at once, demanding board-level IT governance. COBIT 5 Implementation gives leaders a structured way to close these gaps.

COBIT 5-I builds structured governance improvement skills

Governance Maturity Gap in Growing GBS Centres

As 105 GBS centres take on broader ownership, many lack a strategy-aligned governance layer. The COBIT 5 implementation lifecycle is built to raise governance maturity in scaling operations.

COBIT 5-I raises governance maturity at scale

    Strategy-To-IT Alignment Shortfalls

Boards fund digital transformation, but weak links between strategy and IT investment cause value leakage. Certified implementers use the goals cascade to reconnect the two.

COBIT 5-I applies the goals cascade

    Scarcity of Credentialed Governance Leaders

Lithuania's IT talent pool is deep in delivery skills but thin in governance implementers. The COBIT 5-I credential and its Foundation prerequisite make holders stand out.

COBIT 5-I makes holders stand out

    Fragmented Change Adoption

Governance frameworks fail on adoption, not design. COBIT 5 change enablement equips professionals to manage awareness, resistance and reinforcement across the organisation.

COBIT 5-I builds change enablement skills

    One-Off Projects, Not Lasting Improvement

Many governance efforts stall once funding ends. COBIT 5's continuous improvement approach embeds governance as an ongoing discipline that survives leadership change.
