    What is the format of the PfMP exam?

    The PfMP exam is a computer-based, closed-book, multiple-choice examination based on the PfMP Examination Content Outline and the Standard for Portfolio Management, Fourth Edition. It uses scenario and situational questions across five performance domains.

    How many questions are on the PfMP exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 170 questions and you have four hours (240 minutes) to complete it. It is delivered via Pearson VUE OnVUE online proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

    What are the PfMP exam domains and their weights?

    Five domains: Strategic Alignment (25%), Governance (20%), Portfolio Performance (25%), Portfolio Risk Management (14%) and Communications Management (16%), as set out in the PfMP Examination Content Outline.

    What is the passing score for the PfMP exam?

    PMI does not publish a fixed percentage pass mark. The result is determined through psychometric analysis, with domain-level feedback, so focus on broad mastery across all five domains rather than a single target number.

    What if I do not pass the exam on the first attempt?

    PMI requires either a secondary diploma with 84 months of portfolio management experience, or a bachelor's degree with 48 months (36 months from a GAC-accredited programme), plus 120 months of business experience within the past 15 years and a panel review.

    What training formats are available in Kuwait?
