What Is the DevOps Foundation Certification?UntitledYour Entry Point into DevOps

The DevOps Foundation (DOFD) certification is an entry-level credential that validates a working understanding of DevOps culture, practices and principles, and the ability to apply them in a real IT environment. Awarded by the DevOps Institute, now part of PeopleCert, it is built on the current DevOps Foundation Exam Blueprint, the Body of Knowledge that primes the entire DevOps Institute certification suite. DevOps Foundation certification training in Japan gives developers, operations staff, testers and business teams the shared language they need to collaborate and ship software faster. As Japanese enterprises race to overcome the METI Digital Cliff and bring software delivery back in-house, employers from Tokyo fintechs to global product teams want people who can work the DevOps way. The course covers the Three Ways, the CALMS framework, continuous integration and delivery, DORA metrics and DevOps culture, then prepares you for the 40-question DevOps Institute exam. Whether you are new to DevOps or connecting your Agile and ITIL practice to it, the DOFD credential is a globally recognised, vendor-neutral first step. Start your DevOps journey with Invensis Learning.

Invensis Learning is a Peoplecert Accredited Training Organization (2778) in Japan, approved to deliver official DevOps Foundation training using accredited courseware and standards.

Market Forces Driving DevOps Demand in Japan

    The METI Digital Cliff

METI warns that ageing legacy systems threaten Japan's competitiveness. Modernising them needs teams that understand DevOps culture and continuous delivery, the exact knowledge this certification builds.

DevOps Foundation builds modern delivery knowledge

    Bringing Delivery Back In-House

Japanese enterprises are insourcing software delivery to move faster. Doing so requires internal teams fluent in CI/CD, automation and DevOps ways of working rather than reliance on external vendors.

DevOps Foundation gives teams a shared foundation

    Cloud and DevOps Talent Shortage

There are simply not enough cloud architects and DevOps engineers in Japan for the volume of migration work enterprises want done, making credentialed professionals rare and highly valued.

DevOps Foundation makes certified professionals stand out

    Pressure to Release Faster

Businesses need shorter release cycles without sacrificing reliability. DevOps practices such as the Three Ways, DORA metrics and blameless learning are how high-performing teams achieve both.
