    Agile and Hybrid Adoption

As banks, telecoms and tech firms shift to agile and hybrid delivery, employers need managers fluent in both, which the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition and the PMP exam now emphasise.

The Project Management Professional (PMP) is PMI's flagship credential and the global standard for project managers. It is for project managers, team leads and delivery professionals in Amman who lead projects using predictive, agile or hybrid approaches.

    General

What is the PMP certification and who is it for?

The Project Management Professional (PMP) is PMI's flagship credential and the global standard for project managers. It is for project managers, team leads and delivery professionals in Amman who lead projects using predictive, agile or hybrid approaches.

Is the PMP worth it for professionals in Amman?

Yes. PMP is recognised across Jordan's ICT, telecom, banking, construction and public sectors, and PMP holders report around 17% higher median pay globally. Employers increasingly ask for it by name as Jordan delivers major digital and infrastructure programmes.

Which standard and edition is the PMP based on?

The PMP exam is aligned to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition and the current PMP Examination Content Outline. The updated outline spans fundamentals, predictive and agile delivery, business analysis and stakeholder engagement.

How long is the PMP certification valid?

The PMP is valid for three years. To maintain it, you earn 60 professional development units (PDUs) across the PMI Talent Triangle within each three-year cycle.

    Who governs the PMP certification?

The PMP is awarded by the Project Management Institute (PMI), the world's leading project management body. It is recognised in over 200 countries and widely regarded as the gold standard in project management.

    Pricing

How much does PMP training cost in Amman?

PMP training fees vary by format and provider, and instructor-led places are available on request. The PMI exam fee is billed separately by PMI. Contact us for a quote and current schedules.

What is included in the PMP course fee?

The fee typically includes PMI-aligned courseware, the 35 contact hours, practice questions, mock exams, exam simulator access and learner support, plus a course completion certificate. Request a quote to see what your plan includes.

Is the PMI exam fee included in the training price?

Does PMI membership reduce the exam cost?

Yes. PMI individual membership lowers the exam and renewal fees and gives access to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition. Verify current membership and exam prices on pmi.org.

Do you offer corporate or group pricing?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for teams across Jordan. Contact us for a tailored group quote.

    Exam

How many questions are on the PMP exam and how long is it?

The PMP exam has 180 questions and lasts 230 minutes, which is three hours and 50 minutes, including two 10-minute breaks. It uses multiple-choice, multiple-response, matching, hotspot and limited fill-in-the-blank questions.

What does the PMP exam cover?

The exam is aligned to the 8th edition of the PMBOK Guide and covers project management fundamentals, predictive plan-based methods, agile frameworks, business analysis and strategy, and stakeholder engagement. About half the content reflects agile or hybrid approaches.

What is the passing score for the PMP exam?

PMI does not publish a fixed percentage pass mark. Your result is determined through psychometric analysis and reported as Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement across the domains, so aim for broad mastery.

Where can I take the PMP exam?

You can sit the exam online through Pearson VUE's OnVUE proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre. Scheduling is done via PMI's portal or Pearson VUE within your one-year eligibility period.

What if I do not pass the first time?

PMI allows up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period. Re-examination fees apply to the second and third attempts, and our prep resources and practice exams are designed to help you pass first time.

What are the eligibility requirements for the PMP exam?

With a four-year degree you need 36 months of leading projects plus 35 contact hours of project management education. With a secondary diploma you need 60 months of leading projects plus the same 35 contact hours, which this training provides.

    Course Content

What will I learn in the PMP training?

You will learn to lead predictive, agile and hybrid projects, covering the current PMP outline: fundamentals, predictive methods, agile frameworks, business analysis and stakeholder engagement, all aligned to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition.

Do I need experience to take the PMP training?

Anyone can attend the training, and it provides the 35 contact hours you need to apply. To sit the exam, PMI requires project leadership experience and a degree or secondary diploma, which our team can help you confirm.

    What learning resources are included?

You receive PMI-aligned courseware, practice questions, full-length mock exams, an exam simulator, quizzes and templates, along with guidance on your PMI application.

Are there mock exams and practice questions?
