    The exam is closed book with 100 questions in multiple-choice and true or false formats, and you have three hours to complete it. Some forms include up to 10 additional unscored questions. It can be taken online with proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

    What score do I need to pass the Green Belt exam?

    You need a minimum of 385 points out of 550 to pass. Questions are spread roughly evenly across the five DMAIC phases, so balanced preparation across Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve and Control is the best approach.
