What You Gain from Becoming a COBIT 5 AssessorSkills, Recognition and Career Growth

    For Individuals

    For Individuals

COBIT 5 Assessor training helps IT audit and governance professionals move from understanding COBIT to formally measuring how well governance processes actually perform. You learn to plan an assessment, collect evidence, rate each process attribute and report capability levels that drive real improvement. Whether you are an internal auditor, a GRC specialist or a governance consultant in Accra or beyond, the credential validates that you can run assessments to an international standard, not just describe the framework.

For professionals completing the COBIT 5 pathway after Foundation and Implementation, the Assessor level is the final, specialist step. It signals to employers that you can deliver independent, defensible governance assessments that stand up to board and regulatory scrutiny.

    • Earn the highest credential in the COBIT 5 scheme and prove specialist assessment competency
    • Qualify for senior IT audit, GRC and IT governance roles across Ghana's regulated sectors
    • Lead formal, ISO/IEC 15504-aligned process capability assessments with professional confidence
    • Master the COBIT 5 PAM, the six capability levels and the four-point rating scale
    • Strengthen evidence, rating and reporting skills that boards and regulators rely on

    • Support Bank of Ghana cyber and IT governance compliance from an assessment perspective
    For Organizations

    For Organizations

COBIT 5 Assessor group training helps organisations develop internal assessors who can measure and improve IT governance capability. Teams learn to run formal assessments using the COBIT 5 PAM, producing consistent, evidence-based ratings across the enterprise. For banks, telecoms and public bodies responding to tighter regulation, this builds a repeatable way to demonstrate governance maturity.

As Ghana's financial sector adopts board-level cyber and IT risk accountability, organisations that can self-assess governance capability gain a real advantage. Certified assessors turn COBIT from a reference model into a measurable management tool.

    • Build an in-house capability to assess IT governance maturity against a recognised standard
    • Standardise process capability assessments across business units and audit teams
    • Support Bank of Ghana cyber and information security directive compliance with objective evidence
    • Identify governance gaps and prioritise improvement using COBIT 5 PAM ratings
    • Reduce reliance on external assessors by developing certified assessors internally
    • Give boards defensible, evidence-based assurance on IT governance capability
    • Enable customised group training aligned to your risk and compliance objectives
    • Strengthen audit, risk and governance functions with ISO/IEC 15504-aligned skills
