    What is the format of the EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation exam?

    The EXIN exam is closed book with 40 single-answer multiple-choice questions. It is based on the EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation Examination Specification, which is aligned to the Scrum Guide and the Agile Manifesto, and covers five topic areas.

    How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 40 multiple-choice questions and a time limit of 60 minutes (1 hour). It is a closed-book examination.

    What is the passing score for the exam?

    You need 65 per cent to pass, which means answering at least 26 of the 40 questions correctly. Preparation across all five EXIN topic areas is the best way to reach the mark.

    Where and how can I take the exam?

    You can take the EXIN exam online through EXIN's online proctored system or at an EXIN accredited testing location. The exam is often arranged through an accredited training provider as part of a training and exam bundle.

    Are there any prerequisites for the exam?

    No. The Agile Scrum Foundation has no formal prerequisites. It is open to everyone, regardless of education, work experience or prior agile knowledge, though attending an accredited training course is recommended.
