    Cross-Border Delivery Complexity

With 170+ multinational centres running interdependent projects across time zones, Prague employers need programme-grade prioritisation, stakeholder engagement and risk aggregation.

    General

What is the PgMP certification and who is it for?

PgMP (Program Management Professional) is PMI's senior credential for professionals who manage multiple related projects as a coordinated programme to deliver strategic benefits. It is built for senior programme managers, PMO heads and delivery directors, and fewer than 3,000 practitioners worldwide hold it.

Is PgMP worth it for programme managers in Prague?

Yes. PgMP opens senior programme, PMO and transformation roles across Prague's global business services, banking, consulting and manufacturing employers, where such roles command strong pay and the credential is globally recognised. Talk to a learning advisor to map it to your goals.

Is the PgMP recognised in Prague and the Czech Republic?

Yes. PgMP is a globally recognised PMI credential valued by the multinational R&D centres, banks and consultancies operating in Prague and across the Czech Republic, and it carries the same recognition worldwide.

Do I need PMP before taking PgMP?

No. PMP is not a mandatory prerequisite for PgMP. However, an active PMP satisfies the project management experience requirement across all three eligibility sets, so PMP holders only need to document their programme management experience.

How long is PgMP valid and how is it renewed?

PgMP is valid for three years. To maintain it, you earn 60 PDUs across the PMI Talent Triangle (at least 8 in each of Ways of Working, Power Skills and Business Acumen) within each three-year continuing certification requirements cycle.

    Pricing

How much does PgMP training cost in Prague?

PgMP training fees vary by format (live online, classroom or corporate) and are available on request. The PMI exam fee is billed separately in USD and is not part of the training fee. Request a quote for current Prague pricing.

What is included in the PgMP course fee?

    Exam

How many questions is the PgMP exam and how long is it?

The PgMP exam has 170 questions and a four-hour allotted time. It is closed book and uses multiple-choice question formats, delivered by Pearson VUE via OnVUE online proctoring or at a test centre.

What are the PgMP exam domains and their weights?

What is the PgMP panel review?

The panel review is a multi-rater assessment unique to PgMP. A panel of programme management practitioners evaluates your documented experience and competency. It is mandatory in addition to the written exam, and both must be passed to earn the credential.

Which standard is the PgMP exam based on?

The exam is based on the PgMP Examination Content Outline and The Standard for Program Management, Fourth Edition. Our courseware is aligned to this current 4th Edition standard and the five performance domains.

What happens if I do not pass, and how many attempts do I get?

PMI allows up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period. Reexamination fees apply to the second and third attempts, and our prep support and mock exams are designed to help you build broad mastery across all five domains.

Do I need prior experience to benefit from the training?

The course is built for experienced managers. You can enrol at any time, but to sit the exam PMI requires substantial programme management experience under one of its three eligibility sets. The training helps you consolidate that experience for the exam and panel review.
