What Is the Certified ScrumMaster Certification?UntitledYour Route into Agile Delivery
The Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) is Scrum Alliance's entry-level Scrum Master certification, and our CSM certification training in Botswana gives you a working command of the Scrum framework, the Scrum Master role, and the values that make agile teams effective. It is the most widely recognised Scrum Master credential in the world, with over one million certificates issued. Delivered as a 16-hour, Scrum Alliance aligned programme led by a Certified Scrum Trainer (CST), the course is built on the current Scrum Guide, the November 2020 edition by Ken Schwaber and Jeff Sutherland, and the Scrum Alliance CSM Learning Objectives. You explore the three pillars of empiricism, the five Scrum values, the three team accountabilities, the five Scrum events, and the three artefacts, then apply them to realistic delivery scenarios. After the course you have 90 days to sit the online CSM exam through the Scrum Alliance portal: 50 questions, 60 minutes, open book, with a 74% pass mark. As Botswana's banks, telecoms operators and public sector accelerate digital transformation under the SmartBots strategy, employers increasingly want Scrum Masters who can facilitate delivery and remove impediments.
