Market Forces Fuelling COBIT 5 Demand in Brazil

    Stricter Data Protection Enforcement

Now that the ANPD is a full regulatory agency, LGPD enforcement in Brazil has moved from guidance to sanctions, pushing organisations to prove mature, evidenced IT governance.

COBIT 5 builds governance maturity and control

    Tighter Banco Central Cyber Rules

CMN and Banco Central resolutions impose strict governance and cybersecurity requirements on financial and IT service providers, the exact maturity a COBIT 5 programme helps deliver.

COBIT 5 aligns IT governance with regulation

    Governance Maturity Gap

Many Brazilian enterprises run large IT estates without a strategy-aligned governance layer, the precise gap the seven-phase COBIT 5 implementation lifecycle is built to close.

COBIT 5 closes the strategy-alignment gap

    Scarce Governance Talent

Brazil's IT market is deep in project managers but thin in credentialed governance leaders, making holders of the intermediate COBIT 5 credential rare and sought-after.

COBIT 5-I makes certified leaders stand out

    Strategy-Execution Disconnect

Boards fund digital transformation, but weak links between strategy and the funded IT mix cause value leakage that governance professionals are increasingly hired to fix.

COBIT 5 links investment to strategic value

    Audit and Compliance Pressure

Recurring audit findings and rising scrutiny mean organisations need repeatable governance improvement, the continuous-improvement discipline that COBIT 5 embeds by design.
