    What is the format of the Yellow Belt exam?

    The exam is closed book with 60 multiple-choice and true or false questions. Some forms include up to 6 additional unscored questions. It is delivered online with proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

    How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 60 questions with an allotted time of two hours. Roughly 12 questions cover each of the five DMAIC phases: Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve and Control.

    What is the passing score for the Yellow Belt exam?

    You need a minimum of 230 out of 300 points to pass. The exam tests all five DMAIC phases at a foundational awareness level, so aim for broad understanding across the syllabus.

    Where can I sit the Yellow Belt exam?

    You can take the exam online through the on-demand proctored system, available around the clock, or at one of the Pearson VUE test centres available worldwide.

    What if I do not pass on my first attempt?
