    How long is the PMI-RMP valid and how do I renew it?

    The PMI-RMP is valid for three years. To maintain it, you earn 30 PDUs in risk management topics within each three-year continuing certification requirements cycle and pay the PMI renewal fee.

    How much does PMI-RMP training cost in Manama?

    Instructor-led PMI-RMP training fees in Manama vary by format and cohort, and are available on request in BHD. The PMI exam fee is billed separately by PMI in USD. Request a quote or speak with a learning advisor for current pricing.

    What is included in the PMI-RMP course fee?

    What is the format of the PMI-RMP exam?

    The PMI-RMP exam is closed book with multiple-choice questions, in single-answer and multiple-answer formats. It is delivered through Pearson VUE, either online proctored via OnVUE or at a test centre, and is based on the Examination Content Outline effective January 2022.

    How many questions are on the PMI-RMP exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 115 questions and you have 2.5 hours, or 150 minutes, to complete it. Results are reported with domain-level feedback of Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement.

    What are the five PMI-RMP exam domains and their weights?

    The five domains are Risk Strategy and Planning (20%), Risk Identification (20%), Risk Analysis (23%), Risk Response (22%) and Monitor and Close Risks (15%), per the January 2022 Examination Content Outline.

    What is the passing score for the PMI-RMP exam?

    PMI does not publish a fixed percentage pass mark. The result is set through psychometric analysis, so aim for broad mastery across all five domains rather than a single target score.

    How many attempts do I get, and where can I sit the exam?

    You get up to three attempts within a one-year eligibility window from application approval. You can sit the exam online with OnVUE proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

    What topics does the PMI-RMP training cover?

    The training covers the full risk lifecycle across the five domains: risk strategy and planning, risk identification, qualitative and quantitative analysis, risk response, and monitoring and closing risks, plus application guidance and exam strategy.

    Does the training meet the PMI-RMP education requirement?

    Yes for most candidates. The 32 contact hours fully satisfy the 30-hour risk education requirement for Set B and Set C applicants. Set A candidates need 40 hours and should add at least 8 more hours of risk education.

    Are agile and hybrid risk approaches covered?

    Yes. Reflecting the January 2022 Examination Content Outline, the course covers risk management across predictive, agile and hybrid delivery, so you can apply the techniques in the way your projects actually run.

    There are three routes. Set A: a secondary diploma with 36 months of risk experience in the last 5 years and 40 hours of education. Set B: a bachelor's degree with 24 months and 30 hours. Set C: a GAC-accredited degree with 12 months and 30 hours.
