    What is the format of the DevOps Foundation exam?

    The exam has 40 single-answer multiple-choice questions to be completed in 60 minutes. It is closed book and based on the DevOps Foundation Body of Knowledge and the current DevOps Institute Exam Blueprint, covering six topic areas.

    What is the passing score for the exam?

    The passing score is 65%, which means answering at least 26 of the 40 questions correctly. The training includes mock exams and practice questions to help you prepare across all six topic areas.

    Where can I take the DevOps Foundation exam?

    You can sit the exam online through PeopleCert OnVUE proctoring or at an authorised test centre. The exam is often arranged through your training provider as part of a training and exam package.

    Are there prerequisites to sit the exam?

    The training covers the six DevOps Institute topic areas: DevOps Foundations, DevOps Concepts and Practices, Agile, ITSM and Lean IT, the DevOps Continuous Delivery Pipeline, Automation and Tooling, and DevOps Culture and Organisation.

    What are the Three Ways of DevOps?

    The Three Ways are the First Way, Flow, which maximises the flow of work from development to operations to customers; the Second Way, Feedback, which creates fast feedback loops; and the Third Way, Continual Learning and Experimentation, which builds a culture of improvement.

    What is the CALMS framework?

    CALMS stands for Culture, Automation, Lean, Measurement and Sharing. It is a model for assessing and developing DevOps capability across an organisation and is one of the core frameworks covered in the DevOps Foundation Body of Knowledge.

    What are the DORA metrics?

    The four DORA metrics are Deployment Frequency, Lead Time for Changes, Change Failure Rate and Mean Time to Restore. They measure software delivery performance and are used to gauge DevOps organisational capability.

    Is the courseware aligned to the latest blueprint?
