    What is the format of the DevOps Foundation exam?

    The exam is closed book with single-answer multiple-choice questions, based on the current DevOps Foundation Body of Knowledge (Exam Blueprint). It can be taken online via PeopleCert OnVUE proctoring or at an authorised test centre.

    How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

    The DevOps Foundation exam has 40 multiple-choice questions and a duration of 60 minutes (one hour). It is a closed-book examination.

    What is the passing score for the DevOps Foundation exam?

    The pass mark is 65 per cent, which means answering at least 26 of the 40 questions correctly. Broad understanding across all six topic areas is the best way to prepare.

    Where can I take the DevOps Foundation exam?

    Yes. DevOps Foundation is an entry-level credential with no prerequisites, so beginners are welcome. The training builds concepts from the ground up, and basic IT familiarity is helpful but not required.

    What frameworks and metrics will I learn?

    You will learn the Three Ways of DevOps, the CALMS framework, the continuous delivery pipeline, and the four DORA metrics: Deployment Frequency, Lead Time for Changes, Change Failure Rate and Mean Time to Restore.
